Hi, the 95Gran-am manual trans we have got stuck in the snow. It was just too deep not going in the ditch or sliding in the curb just snow too deep. Well I did he usual thing rocking it, revving it, tried turning wheels left right, digging away some snow finally got it out. Later the wife goes to work calls me and says the car is shaking when getting at 45-50mph. So when she gets home I take it out and yes it shakes considerably but not until the 45mph range. I do drive this car every day and this wasnt present before it got stuck though. Any ideas on what could have happened or what to have checked out. Thanks Ray

Maybe you threw a wheel weight? You could get lucky and see where the weight was clipped or glued.

Probably have frozen snow/ice packed into one or more of the wheels... which makes them unbalanced. Seems like aftermarket wheels are more prone to having it "stick" than factory wheels... since the factory actually tests their stuff in winter weather.
Are the wheels still packed with snow?
Shaking at 45 mph is a tire. It's always a tire. Lots of people will try to make a broadway musical out of that question, but it always turns out to be a tire in the end. It has nothing to do with getting stuck. Just a coincidence.

Well it must have been snow compacted snow or the like. My wife did poke out some buildup between the rim of one tire and said it got somewhat better. I took it to the car wash and sprayed all rims suspension parts I could now its fine. Looks like hdd might have been stuck in deep snow before :-)
