Hi all: 1994 bonneville, car only cranks in neutral after some shifter moving. Is the neutral switch servicable? or must it be replaced? I did try the adjustment with pin as desbribed in service manual with no lasting results. Dindnt know if it can be taken apart and worked. Thanks, Ed

Update: What i did was remove switch and separate. Screws that hold together all broke but was easy to drill out aluminum and use small self tappers to reseal. Inside was corroded and coated with white grease. Retained some grease and then cleaned bands of contacts with brass brush. regreased very lightly on contacts then reassembled. All works great so far.
