Hi again; Can anyone tell, did the pontiac firefly ever have a 4 cylinder 1.4 litre opal engine, and if so what years did they use that engine. Seems here in Australia, the 1995 SB holden barina had that engine, and am now wonder if it will fit into the 1992 holden barina.

The firefly in North America got as big as a 1.3 liter 4 cyl engine - all engines were Suzuki - but the way GM "badge engineere" it could well have been sold as a Holden, Opel, Vauxhaul. or who-knows-what somewhere in the world.
All their small car technology in Canada now comes from their Daewoo division in Korea since they cut their ties to Suzuki and Toyota (CAMI in Ontario and NUMMI in California)
