Anyone know a way to disable the annoying beeper that activates when in reverse gear (2003 Vibe GT 6 speed)? It is really annoying. Love the car otherwise.

locate the speaker and jamb a screwdriver through it?
Your no fun.
I thought you could only get back up beepers on Park Avenue & Caddy's!
And I don't want it !

Its to remind old fogies that you forgot to shift into drive again before they back up into someones car, I think Caddies and Buicks SHOULD have them standard.
