If I am not mistaken, I believe these people were front and center about their unhappiness with Renegade Hybrids. I believe they also stepped in and debunked the myth of the "cheap V-8 upgrade" touted by a few around here.

This looks like a cut our losses move to me.

That is what they say it is, cutting losses on something that went WAY overbudget. I talked to them about this car. They wouldn't say exactly what they spent, but they said they would be happy to get out of it for 1/2 of what they had in it, and they hinted their reserve in the auction was in the low to mid 20K range.

If you overlook this one, they have a 930 and a Gemballa 911 on their website that I wouldn't mind having either of. Both are all Porsche.

Ooh, and that's the shorter wheelbase that had a wee bit of trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground in hard corners as it was I thought.
