On my ' 98 Max, ( auto tranny) I can`t decide on spending 18.00 $ on a single OEm NGK PFR5G-11 platinum spark plug, as opposed to the reguler copper NGK BKR5E-11 at 3.00 $ a piece ( canadian prices). I prefer changing all plugs every 2 years or 40000 km at 3$ a plug, as opposed to 18$ a plug every 5 years / 100000 km. Besides, I dont plan to keep the car another 5 years, perhaps 2-3 years. On the other side, previous posts have praised the platinum plug, very much so. What would you do?
