Driveway planter?

And I haven't really found a need for apps I can't get on the Mac. I've been using Macs since the day before it was released for sale--and that's before Windows or Linux ever saw the light of day.

I disagree; it's great for organizing photos and the like, but apps like Photoshop (even Photoshop Elements) is much better for editing.

I agree with you, because I wasn't at all clear in my previous post that I meant using iPhoto as the program for importing and organizing photos from the camera, as compared to any of the programs I've ever used that the camera companies distribute with the cameras.

I guess some people get worked up over OSs but I don't really relate to that. I still have OS-2 2.1 somewhere around here (along with Lotus Smartsuite for it) so not much fazes me. I did once have to restore an AMOS system at work, though... it took three days to piece together a bootable hard drive cartridge with the full set of utilities and the BASIC program we ran on it

Oh, definitely.

I just organize mine with the Windows XP directory structure in conjunction with XP's array of views. No third-party application require. In fact, I like the native filing system better than the freebie that came with my Canon Powershot. Can't speak for the Mac because I made my living during the last 15 of my 45 years in the computer industry selling and supporting PCs. Had a dealer been able to resell generic Apples perhaps the Mac would have enjoyed widespread acceptance. As it was, 99% of those of us working this industry were relegated to selling and supporting PC clones. The rest is history.

Nice site! No pictures of the Avalon though? I'll have to go back when I have time to watch your blizzard video too.

I've been lax. I'll get around to putting a picture of my Avalon on the site, and I also want to change the Nissan Titan page by adding the Prius and contrasting the two in terms of size and economy.

As for the blizzard video, it isn't on-line. It's a two-gigabyte DVD! Perhaps one day I'll post some web-sized excerpts from my home-brew DVD's. Some of them are damn-near pro quality, I'm told.
