Honda has fired the guy who handled ergonomic design.
How so?
For one: the headrest juts forward and actually forces my head forward. WTF?? Not adjustable. WTF????
The Insight is NOT the Honda of days gone by where you could just get in blindly and be instantly comfortable.
On the other hand, I ordered up a Prius a couple of years ago without ever having sat in one or driven one. It came, I sat, I drove, and instant comfort.
Same thing with the RDX that's in my driveway right now. Just sit in it and "ahhhhh......"
Maybe the Honda ergonomic design guy went to Acura and left the intern over at Honda to work on the Insight.
And, ah, what's that jutting out of the back of your head?
Seriously... Your comments are interesting because many reviews suggest the Insight's seating position is more natural and comfortable than the Prius.
And topical, too, as I'm set to drive one next week and this is good heads-up info.
Thanks.
