The Rover 75 requires special diagnostic equipment to reset the service light.
Any why on earth would you want to, anyway ?!?!
erm.. you're selling one, can't be bothered to have it serviced, too greedy to knock a bit off the price?
I suppose the non-cynical answer would be that you service it yourself.
technical all this oil, filter, brake pad, drive belt, fluid changing stuff indeed you need a maths degree :)
That'c certainly true on a modern car. It's now getting to the stage where you need a specific set of tools for each manufacturer. You have zero chance of changing the cambelt on the new 5-series, for example.
