My 91 90cd 2.3t was in the shop for a few repairs.
The exhaust pipe going into the turbo rotted and cracked , it was welded. The a/c compressor was shot and replaced as well as the blower motor. Oil change , changed the plugs. I get the car back and about 8 hours (30 Miles) it sputters a bit at stop lights....over the next 2 days it gets worse and worse. The car goes back to the shop they change the plugs again(they are fouled after 150 miles) and say there was water in the boot that goes over the plugs(DI?) and also in the TP sensor. I get the car back and it drives great for 30 miles then drives crappy after it warms up and gradually gets worse. Now it just drives like crap all the time....feels like car is running out of gas... kicks and sputters....has some sweet spots where it runs great HELP!! PLEASE! why did the car improve and then degenerate again? I don't get it?
