'95 900 2.3i: Regular maintenance

Hi,

I bought a '95 900 2.3i last year with 115k and put another 20k on it since.

After a new alternator, a new clutch and now bad motor mounts I was wondering what regular/scheduled maintenance at what intervals I should do to bring the most lifetime out of the car.

I am not really mechanically inclined (mostly due to a lack of time)

Definitely have the upper idler pulley and serpentine belt replaced ASAP, unless you know that it's been done recently. That pulley will disintegrate every 30k-40k miles or so, and when it goes the car stops. I've found the intervals that Saab recommends to be pretty good otherwise. I've got over 170,000 miles on my '95 900 2.3, and the idler pulley has been the only thing that gave me trouble.
