Climate control

Is it possible (read: relatively easy and not too expensive) to install the automatic climate control system to replace the manual AC system?

My '97 900 has the manual AC but I really would like the auto system with proper temperature control.

Is it just a couple of sensors plus the control panel, or is it a completely different AC system?

Any ideas on the cost of the parts involved?

Along similar lines, can the basic temperature/clock SID unit be swapped out for the full trip computer system (without the Saab audio system)?

Cheers.

I am told it is a really big job. The car needs several sensors, and loads of 'valves' to direct the air to the parts of the car it is needed.

Sorry.
