cruise control TiD

At least in the Netherlands all '99 9-3 S and SE models were fitted with CC as standard.

But anyway, because I expect the majority of them were probably fitted with CC, it would make sense to asume this wiring is already present. This assumption is based on the fact that it most likely is cheaper to always use a standard cable boom with complete wiring, even if they're not used completely, than it is to make different cable booms for every specification variant available.

i thought only electronic throttle cars such as 9-5 trionic 7 have cruise control ready

other cars are lacking all the vacuums and ecu and relays etc.

i read that on a base model 9-5 all you need was the extra steeringwheel stalk and you have CC

how do you find your TiD i was thinking of getting one does the engine feel like a saab or a GM? do you miss the acceration of a petrol turbo? do you think it will last as long as saab other engines?

Spoke to my local saab dealer today, and it is pre wired. The kit will cost unde £50, a bargain.

I found the car at a saab dealership through the autotrader website in the UK, altough diesels are a bit more expensive and harder to find. Plus I got a 6 month guarantee (as its 1999 its slightly too old for the aproved used saab deal).

Ive never had a saab or a GM car before so cant compare them, but compared to my old toyota carina, it has less acceleration but feels more powerfull. There is a turbolag, but when it kicks in.....

Mine is 115bhp but the newer ones are 125 and i think that will make some difference.
