Seems like a lot of work for a website to tell us something so obvious. Good paint job runs $3-$4K, what's he expect for a fraction of that?
I disagree about the quality. MAACO does crappy work, but it is usually the prep that they skip. Even the $299 paint jobs I've seen from them are way better than what this guy got. Look at some of the masking problems. He paid an extra $700 and they didn't do anything for it... he didn't even get the $299 job quality.
