Rear Visibility Issues

Jan 02, 2004 3 Replies

Although she's been driving her '97 900 Talladega 5-door for more than six months now, my wife finds rear and three quarter vision is still a weak point in its design. I don't drive it that often, so I thought it was just me. Are 9-3 or 9-5s any better in this respect?

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Best wishes for '04

Steve

Grass is always greener. Have her drive a convertible. Then send her back to her own car and she'll be pleasantly surprised. :-)

Actually, the 9~3 is identical, unless you are talking the latest version. Some of this has to do with driver seating position (how _you_ sit in the car). However, if you want real visibility, there are other sedans with nearly perfect 360degree lookability.

go to cars.com and see click and clack's suggestions on mirror adjustment.
