What type of struts for daily driving (in a spirited manner)?
Are springs an option, as in progressive rates, etc, or is there no point to other than stock springs?
Thx in advance, TBerk

I replaced my 1992 900's shocks with Koni "specials" (red), set to the softest setting. So far so good. I also replaced the rear springs with the "heavy load" springs from Swedish Auto Specialties (sasab.com), as the originals were sagging badly.

I don't know who sasab is they don't have an address so I assume they must be running the business from the basement. I stay away from anyone who does not have a legitimate address.

Struts on a '91 900??? All my pre '93 900's were double wish bone w/shocks in front and solid axle w/shocks in rear. Am I missing something?? If you have a standard "old" 900 and want a tighter handleing vehicle. Put KYB shocks on it and replace the springs with junkyard SPG units. It takes an afternoon. Now go to an alignment shop and have them take out ALL the camber (0 degrees) and most of the toe in. It'll stick till your tires let go and respond like a Lotus.......well sorta. Just remember that when the tires do let go you'll have a major handfull of problems. Best to practice a bit on a track or parking lot. It's a joy at less than 10/10ths. Keep the receipt for the KYB shocks. You'll be needing it, especially if you drive the car in cold weather.

I was very happy with stock springs and KYB shocks. Phil Brown

Sorry, my deepest experience is with McPherson type front ends (which use struts up front), this 900s I'm talking about is a friend's recent purchase. I haven't had a long time with it, let alone under it, to get acclimated.
Thx for the suggestions folks.
