Saab 900 Turbo Rear Suspension Question

Hi.....Gosh you have to love these cars...they are just so much fun to drive; and the turbo just adds the icing to the cake. She is a 1987 900 Turbo with about 230,000kms on the clock.

Anyway...I suspect the rear end is sitting too low (headlights are pointing way too high when on normal beam - and I'm assuming the headlight adjustment is correct). What is normally the reason on these models for this to happen and what is the best way to resolve/repair this problem...

Thanks In advance...

Rear springs get soft over a period of time. You will probably notice the exhaust clanking occasionally also. An afternoon job. Do the shocks at the same time. I used a "Sawzall" to remove the shocks, easier and faster than fighting with rusted bolts and nuts.

This job took me more like two days. But I learned a lot doing it and could probably do it somewhat faster now.
