My 1992 9000 Turbo has 181,000 miles. Lately, I've been noticing a hesitation before the transaxle will engage when going into drive. This has only recently started. At first, it only did it while coming out of reverse, but now it seems to do it even from Park straight into Drive.
Another possibly related problem (but maybe not) is some vibration at higher speeds. This has been going on for a little while, and I suspect it's from a bad balance job, but it feels slightly different than just tires, almost as if the vibration was coming from under the car, similar to an older rear wheel drive with a bad U-joint.
Any ideas? Time to look for a new car? Thank in advance,
