Interesting, but relatively, what % is that of all the car sales in the = US? What is the population of the US - how many persons /SAAB?=20 In other words; what is the SAAB density? ------------------------------------------- MH '72 97 '77 96 '78 95 '79 96

Very low. I can't find it on the web, but I saw a table that showed Saab way in the bottom of the list of sales volume. Well below Volvo, even below Porsche if I remember right. Same ballpark as Maserati.

First, try the Great Falls area of Fairfax if you want to see Maseratis. Big problem with any high priced car in the NOVA area is the *&%$ing car tax.

As others have said, it may depend on your locale. And my memory may not be as good as it should be, but I think I remember it right. I've dug around quite a bit and I can't find any summarized sales figures for all the different car makers. If I find anything to substantiate what I remember seeing in the newspaper, I'll post it.

Also, what is the average mileage yearly of the Saabs on the road, vs. the Maseratis? I don't know if any of those would be a daily driver, where the Saab most likely would be.
