Record Saab Sales '04?

Nov 07, 2003 1 Replies

FWIW: Friday's Wall Street Journal article about the '04 9-3 Convertible, listed the following: Saab sales record for the USA: 47,414 cars in 1986.

20% of all Saabs sold are convertibles. Saab USA expects to sell 9,500 convertibles in model year '04 (+15% compared to '03/'02/'01).

And from Miscellany (the Morgan Auto Club Magazine), both Saabs and Morgans have been deemed "cool" by those that deem such things.

Go SAAB!!!! GM's helping Saab move along just nicely.

I sat in one of those convertibles the other day. VERY VERY nice. I felt comfortable in one. Lots of leg, head, shoulder room (I'm 6'3"). It was this awesome yellow convertible too with yellow accents on the door. I didn't care for the really fake looking wood on the dash, but it really didn't diminish the overall feel for the dash. I could have lived with it. Looks like Saab's got another winner.
