Trionic version?

Hi all. Forgive the beginners question but can anyone tell me how I identify which version of the Trionic software I have on my car. It is a 9-5 2.0 SE lpt registered in September 2000 but the VIN identifies it as a MY2001. I need to know as I am considering purchasing a BSR upgrade and they seem to differentiate between cars up to 2000 and 2001 onwards. Thanks Chris

BSR doesn't care when the vehicle was registered. The important date is when the car was manufactured. If the VIN says MY2001 then the car was manufactured after the factory changed over to the new model during the summer vacations in 2000, but before the summer vacations in 2001.

Btw, I don't think you need to worry. BSR will most likely request that you send them a couple of numbers printed on the old Trionic ECU. These numbers include the VIN and will give them all the information they need to determine the correct software for your vehicle.
