do I just have problems driving a stick? and other concerns

I mean I've been driving them since my 94 SC2 in Jan. of 94 but with my 98 SL2 if I'm running the AC and take off from a dead stop it seems like the car wants to lurch forward and die. I've had this "problem" in various temps and weather in the past though sometimes when the AC is off. I'm really not sure if I should be looking at a mechanical issue or if it's just me lol. I do notice some rough idling once in a while though and I thought maybe it might be oxygen sensors or EGR valve. The engine is on a 98 SL2 with about 120,000 miles. Not using more than a quart of oil per 3,000 which is well within specs (usually 2/3rds to 3/4's). I have replaced the ignition from the coils to plugs all at one time because the stock coils were shot (3 of 4 terminals corroding). Have also upgraded to a hotshot intake and as of Wednesday the HKS exhaust kit. Haven't noticed any problems so far WITHOUT the AC on recently but the "problem" is still there when it's on. My guess is I'm just not giving enough gas when the AC is on since I hardly use it and am just likely not used to really driving with it on. That doesn't explain why the car would do that during much cooler weather (40's) though unless it has something to do with not being warmed up enough. Anyway, any insight you guys can give would be appreciated. Should I just take it in to Saturn and tell them what I'm noticing and have them hook it up for diags to make sure nothing is wrong? After being unemployed since last November I just got a new job starting Monday but it's an 84 mile a day round trip (funny, my last job was similar which explains the 120K miles) so I want to make sure nothing is really wrong here that could turn into something major. Thanks guys.
