L200 2001 Daytime Running Light indiicator on dash Not Working

Mar 06, 2004 2 Replies

I looked at my dash and I see that the Daytime Running Light indicator light doesn't shine anymore.

The DRL's are on but not the dash light. I tried moving the parking brake but this didn't do anything.

Is it possible when my brakes were done, the switch connected to the brake lever needed adjustment? If the bulb on the dash is burnt out, is it easy to replace? Thanks.

Does it come on when you turn the key to the start position, thus testing all the idiot lights? If so, it's not the bulb. But as long as the DRL's are on, I would think it would be a lot easier just to ignore it.

I'll have to check, but I don't recall the light coming on during start up.
