More Power out of a '95 SL1?

Oct 05, 2003 6 Replies

Any simple mods that bring the engine in the SL1 to life without seriously degrading other areas of performance? I'd like to make mine handle more like a sports car if possible in the engine power department...

Also, do the sell anti-sway bars for the car?

You already got the cheapest mod for more power. It probably saved you $800 off the purchase price.

Joe ,

I would never even CONSIDER trying to soup-up a Saturn , the are so finikey and fragile that you will almost definately end-up with MAJOR problems if you do ( and probably even if you dont ). And as for handling , it is near IMPOSSIBLE to mod the suspention because of its design . I would Trade it in on a toyota truck before something major goes wrong with the finikey throw-away by design and manufacturer materials .

ASE certified , tim

I assume you must be the official Saturn-basher of the group?
