The chilton book shows & describes an adjustment for the power steering rack. Has anyone tried this?
If so, what size is the locknut? Mine appears to be stuck, and it is not avaialble from the dealer (so they say).
Did adjusting the rack make any differences to feel / noise level?

.We did this to our ITA car's origional rack, but didn't do it to the rack that we put in over the winter. Our driver says he can tell a big difference betweeen them. I didn't do the repair, si unfortunatly, I can't give any guidance.
