1947 Power Brakes and Power Clutch

We are in the middle of re-doing part of this place and I came upon a loose leaf binder with about 200 pages, all pertaining to service bulletins.

One Bulletin referred to adjusting the POWER BRAKES on a 1947 Champion. Can somebody shed some light on this? I had no idea Studebaker had power brakes, and more, no idea they worked on a power assisted clutch. How come these systems did not carry thru?

Are these Bendix service bulletins Bill? They did offer retro-fit Hydrovac kits.

Bill I think that this was refering to a kit that Studebaker brought out after WW2 for wounded veterans that did not have the use of their feet for clutch and brake pedals. The used vacuum operated levers instead. R.Kapteyn

This setup, had a vacumn container, a solinoid, and vacuum lines to and from. The only models they referred to were Champions. I will scan the pages and post them to a link.
