Studebakers on display included Carl Chadwick's 1926 Duplex Roadster, his brother's 1964 GT Hawk, and my '55 Commander. The race will finish in San Rafael, CA on July 8th. The Race will overnight in Indianapolis on Wednesday. The race route can be found at
It was a lot of fun to see some 100 racers driving 1961 and earlier cars. If you are near a lunch stop or overnight, I guarantee you'll enjoy it. There is a husband & wife team from Oregon driving a '55 Studebaker 2 dr. She's the driver, he's the navigator. Annegret Reichmann & Ulrich Kammholz, listed in the Race Program as two year veterans from Portland. Also in the Race are a 1916 and a 1931 Packard Roadster. Keep an eye out for them.
