FOR SALE

1928 Studebaker Commander GB Sedan Dark green body over black wings and black fabric roof. This car is in terrific near on original condition. The fabric roof has been replaced. No paintwork has been carried out. I have re-rung the pistons and fitted new inlet and exhaust valves, the clutch, gearbox and transmission are first class. The interior is great and I have replaced the door trim pads as the originals began to look tatty. I have kept the originals. The car is fitted with an optional heater and mirror clock which both function perfectly. The original wood spoke wheels came from the factory painted black. I stripped and refurbished them back to wood. The white wall tyres are in near new condition including spare. The only parts which require attention are the oil gauge, intermittent sticking and fuel gauge not working. On the headlamp bar is the very rare Commander Worlds Champion badge which I believe was only fitted on the 1928 Commander. I have owned the Stude since it was imported in 2004 from Rhode Island New York, it was previously owned by a retired Fire Chief (now deceased). The Commander is tested and taxed until August 2008. Price: £16,000 or very near offer.

NOTE From Karl That's about $16, 550

£16,000 (GBP) would be over $32,000. (USD)

Good luck in getting that...
