Well, tomorrow morning it is supposed to be 23 degrees so I figure I had better get to work on making the heater in the Champ work a little better as I had planned to drive it to a meet a couple hours away. I had never noticed before the metal filter-like device that slides down into the plastic heater box. As I pulled it out the thing began to shred. Now I cannot get what is left of it back into its slot. What exactly is this devise for and are new ones available from any of our vendors? Joe Roberts

It is the heater filter, SI and SASCO have them.

Funny, now all the luxury cars are making a big deal about their air filtration. Boy was Studebaker ahead of its time.
