It looks like a Houston storm. We'll be on the western side and probably will get a bit breezy with a shower or two but not much more unless it changes course...

Well, the storm turned out to be a dud here. a little breezy in the morning and early afternoon, no rain etc.
Late Friday, I was already prepared for a power outage of several days so I went down to the corner convenience store and bought two pints of Blue Bell ice cream. I ate one pint that evening and polished the other off yesterday afternoon.
Life is good!
