Yeah, with the carbs and everything. Didn't get $5600 for it either. Don't think it's worth that much, but still, it'd be nice to have a pile of cash laying around.

Holy Crap! I went to an auction a few years ago where they advertised two '56 Hudsons. I thought there might be a possibility one or both had Packard engines (neither did). While I was looking at one of them a man came up to me and asked what I was looking for. I told him I was hoping for Packard engines. He said "come here". He led me behind a big brush pile and there sat a very rusty '54 Hudson Hollywood (hardtop). He told me to look under the hood. I did and there was a Packard Caribbean engine complete with the two fours. He had made the switch back in the 60s. It had an overdrive tranny to boot. No, it wasn't for sale. Paul Johnson
