Mother of all Champ brake jobs

Boy has this truck's brake job turned out to be a real long and expensive one....sure am glad I sold it a while back.... New wheel cylinders, master cylinder, steel lines, hoses, shoes, various hardware, Chevy drum conversion, pedal cluster bushings, and while I was there some wheel bearings in the front and a repack/reseal on the rears. Also spent quite a bit of time on the mickey mouse clutch linkage repairs one of the PO's had done. I wasn't able to find a suitable dual master cylinder as the bolt holes are narrower than the cars and I ended up using an older Chevy single master cylinder at least for now. Fit perfectly and was only about twenty five bucks. Also used some longer wheel studs in case the new owner ever wants to run some fancy wheels. Nice to see this old thing coming back to life; a year ago I was deciding whether or not to chop it up for parts. Our chapter veep bought it and was going to work on it himself, but ended up working double shifts and said "fix it". He will do the body work slowly as he finds the time. His reasoning for buying and fixing this thing up is that he was going to buy a used pick up anyway for his new house projects, so why not spend the $$ and have a Stude pick up. I like his way of thinking... Studebaker George
