While I agree with you, somehow usenet netiquette demands bottom posting. I've gotten into more pissing contests to no avail so I try to accommodate everyone. Imagine hearing that from me!

As an experiment, I deleted all but your last sentence. See how that reads. Maybe we could delete all the earlier stuff when we reply and it would be on top.
I use Thunderbird and an extension called QuoteCollapse, it makes all of the older parts of a newsgroup posting vanish behind a + symbol.
