I purchased some ignitions parts off eBay. Everything was clearly labeled except a strange looking coil. It is an ONAN 160-750 coil. It is about 2 inches square, with a 1/2 inch square hole through the center. It has 2 receivers for distributer plug wires, on opposite ends of the coil. Two wires are molded into the coil body. One wire is 4 inches long, the other 21 inches long. The green and white box is labeled "ONAN- engine/generator division, Studebaker Corporation". Anyone have any idea of the application of this coil?
