I have sitting here thiing about prices compared to the mid 50's to 60's

In 62 we bought a Pontiac Bonneville for $3600 Today $36,000 Gas was about $ .29 to $ .35 cents a gallon Today $2.90 to $3.50 In 1950 father was considered wealthy as he broke the $10,000 a year salery Today $100,000 The apartment we lived in was $125 a month Today it rents for $1900

There are a ton of things that don't follow the rule, but more common things do.
