I haven't seen anyone comment about this car , any inside scoop or is everyone just waiting on their snip bid to take place? Looks to be a fair value even if it goes for 14-15,000.00

What's up?

I noticed the bids with zero feed back and went......hmmmmmmmmmm

I've gotta wonder why they'd take a car that far and quit. I mean, it looks 95% complete--just reassembly required. Even the grille looks pit free and the wire caps are wrapped in plastic.

I'm thinking $21,000 BIN, if it's quality work, is not a bad price--am I wrong?

I did noticed the hood ornament appears to be missing, and the holes filled. I know what you mean by a gamble:)

Here is a scare for you John, I sent an email and asked

What was the condition of the floor pan, trunk and sheet metal(fenders.doors hood and deck lid before the paint. I am interested in the car but want to know what it looked like without the paint, primer included.

The reply:

I'll try and talk to the body shop that did the work. maybe I can get a copy of the bill and/or work order from them or they might recall the car.

I'm out of it, no interest........... been there done that.

I can sell you a hood ornament for a small fee...

Sounds like the voice of experience. When the seller goes for plausable deniability, assume the worst. This car will not go too high, though if someone close to it could snag it at the right price, he could potentially make a bundle on it, with a professional presentation. I suspect that the reserve will be higher than anyone will bid on it, this time around, though
