Today after I got the front shocks on, I decided to go ahead and drive it on home. It's only a couple of miles from the shop to the house, so I wasn't worried too much. The car did fine and I think it likes it here. New shocks REALLY make a BIG difference, especially when the old ones can be compressed with hardly no effort at all with your hand. Now I have my own way to get from the shop to the house and to wherever else. While it was in the air I noticed the A-frame bushings are looking a little worn. Something else to add to the to-do list. Oh, I even put on new wiper blades too. The wipers didn't want to work after not being used for 12+ years and they only went about half way up the windshield. I turned them off and pushed them through the cycle. Turned them back on and they are like new. But the car isn't perfect. The worst thing to happen so far, other than all the window rattles from being a hardtop, (knock on wood) is that I hit a bump yesterday and the gear indicator fell out and broke. But, I'm not complaining. Matthew
