Hey everyone, I have a 1995 Suby LS, first off I love it to death. It does have a few problems though. First, the most serious one.. Occasionally when I try to start it, the starter motor will just keep running, nothing happens, I have to try a few times, sometimes depressing the gas pedal fully to get it started. When it finally does start it idles in a very strange way.. It will rumble and grumble sounding like a carb motor and the entire car will shake.. then the RPMs will climb high, and go down, then climb again, and go back down, eventually settling. Any idea of whats causing this and how to fix it? My other problem is the interior lights for climate control and the lights on the shifter (where the gears read) are not working... I'm guessing this is a simple fix, how do I go abouts fixing it? Thanks for any help!

I would suspect the cold start system, temp sensor, etc. or the throttle positioning sensor. Is the check engine light on? Any codes stored? as for the lights the bulbs are easily replaceable. Somewhere on the net (scooby mods?) there is a detailed account with pics but it is very easy to figure out as you go. TG
Hey again. I tried searching all over the website and I could find any information on my problems. Could you help me find a link please? Thank you.
