Last time this happened to me is was just one of the hoses going to the cooler, the clamp had rusted through. Cost me 50 cents and a ruined t- shirt to fix it.
Gee Jim, you didn't provide much to go on here. Where's the fluid coming from? What color is it? In other words does it look burned? Is the tranny case cracked or is the leak coming from a gasket or a seal? What happend when you noticed the leaking fluid leaking; did you hit something or did it just happen? ...and so on. You get the drift.
