Cruis control for Impreza MY06?

My 06 WRX wagon is so equipped from the dealer. However, since it is 'throttle-by-wire' , I'd be surprised if there is any after-market unit available.

Perhaps the dealer can tell you if the feature can be added later. I'm surprised it wouldn't be standard equipment, but perhaps features vary in the different markets around the globe.

There are 3rd party solutions, but not for subaru (yet?).

It´s not very common here in Europe.

So, so have an 06 WRX from the US? I mean, if it was on sale anywhere in the world, it should be possible to get it as spare, schouldn´t it?

Yes, I'm in the US and own a USDM vehicle. I suspect if the feature is offered as an option in Europe, you may be able to have it added by the dealer. If you are asking if the parts/programming is offerd in the US and would be functional on a European model - I do not know. There could be incompatibilities with 'firmware upgrades' or 'flashes'between markets. If a dealer cannot help you, perhaps posting the question at

United States Domestic Market - USDM Japanese Domestic Market - JDM etc.

Sometimes folks will have a vehicle shipped in from a different country. Usually requires special, restricted licensing or extensive modifications to be 'legal'.
