Forester Stereo Kit

Does anyone know of a supplier for a stereo mounting kit to mount an after-market stereo in a late model Forester? I tried

without any success. My underlying purpose is to install a system with an iPod connection and/or with the capability to play MP3s.

Thanks.

to buy a JVC KD-AR860 and I installed it in my 04 Forester XT. They were great! They include everything needed to install, instructions, and phone support if you need it. It was easy. That model has rca jacks on the back for auxiliary input. Because it takes up half the space in the dash they include a plastic storage box that fills the space. I got a part from my Subaru dealer to use instead of the plastic box. I don't have the part number but it is the plastic box with a push to open lid that matches the dash (got it for about 20'ish bucks from Jack Miller Subaru in Kansas City, MO). I ran RCA cable from back of stereo in to that box, with a bit of slack. Now I can plug my ipod or any other external player in to the cables. There is room to store the ipod and cable in the box. And, with the stereo face plate removed and the box closed nothing is visible.

The motorized face plate on that radio can be set at different angles which really helps to avoid glare. I'm far, far from expert, but I am happy to answer any questions.

The JVC deck I put in my 02 Imp bolted right up using the mounting plates off the OEM radio. I just purchased a wiring adapter and away we went.
