Hi,
I discovered second 12V outlet in my Outback. It is in the jack compartment and is located the way it is hard to see at first glance when you take off the cover.
FWIW: I discovered DC outlet in Outback 2002

It's mentioned in the owner's manual.
I belong to that majority of people who do not read manuals :-)
One advantage of not reading the manual is the joy of finding "NEW FEATURES" in a car that you've owned for years...
