I recently purchases a 1995 Subaru Impreza. Upon fixing some minor problems with the car, I ran into one that I have not been able to resolve. The headlight brights do not work. The headlights themselves turn on (low beam), but when i click the bright switch the headlights turn out completely. If I hold the switch with my hand the brights stay on, but only if i continue to pull on the switch. i switched out the bulbes and tested my two relays. This seems like a switch problem. Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated.

A bad contact in the switch. Could be repaired but expect to eventually replace the entire switch.
You mentioned "pulling" on it in your post. Not sure if you know this or not but some cars require you to push the stalk towards the front of the car to maintain the high beams on, the pulling is just for flashing purposes. I remember on my Oldsmobile it would be pull for high and then pull again to turn them off.
When you pull back on a Subaru what happens is both the low and high beams are on. The problem here is the switch behind the steering wheel. Bad contacts.
