Hi I currently drive a manual transmission Loyale, I was wondering what peoples' thoughts are on the automatic, if you have driven both. Does it respond well? does it take up a noticeable amount of 'power' from the 1.8? Thanks in advance Onne

Hi,
Considering the 1.8 in the Loyale's no powerhouse to start with, I'd dread the thought of putting an auto behind it! I've never driven one, but a friend's sister had a Loyale sedan w/ an auto, and he said it wasn't a good combo. My 4wd wagon, 5 spd, barely gets out of its own way, so I'm going to guess an auto might be ok for getting to the grocery store and back, but not much more?
