Some stuff is the same but probably not enough to make it worthwhile. Suspension component and the transmissions are swapable. The early engines will do you no good. 2.2 vs your 2.5 and the early stuff lacks sensors/EGR stuff you would need in your Outback. None of the body parts as far as I know are interchangeable.
