Today i was driving my 94 impreza 5 speed. When i took off from the stop light it was really rough and jerky, as if i started it in 3rd or soemthing, but i was in 1st.
I managed to get into second and it seemed ok. But once i started going faster (70+ km), the car would act as if i was running out of gas. Jerky, hesistant.
I then pulled over and once i came to a stop, the car died. Upon trying to restart, the engine would turn but didnt start, just like i was out of gas.
I managed to get it restarted and the problem persisted.
i then noticed that i could hear a relay ticking behind the dash everytime i hit a bump, and the car would act up.
I drove it on a straight for another 2 or 3 clicks, and since then no problem.
Any ideas?? I checked the fuel filter and all the engine relays, theyre fine, and the pump is getting power and works fine.
