Driving down the road this evening and the VDC OFF light and the CHECK ENGINE light came on. VDC light went off after 10 miles-check engine light still on. Any ideas??

Similar thing happened to me about a year ago. Paid no attention and, like yours, VDC light went off after 10 or 20 miles and, eventually, so too did the Check Engine light. All of that was about 15,000 miles back with no repeat since and no problems ever appeared.
