Hi new. Have 75 malibu 6 cyl . Had it for last 15 years. The problem is that the car will hesitate and usually die several times when going from full stop to acelration , have to "Work" with the accelrator pedal to prevent stall. Once on the read and going it will scream . Could it be as simple as fule filter and or fuel pump? Or carburator possible . Not a big shade tree mechanic just would like to know what might be wrong when I bring it into shop for repair.
