96 Dodge Dakota problem

Feb 13, 2013 1 Replies

I have a 96 Dakota that stalls and sometimes dies when the engine is cold and when shifting from R to D. It sounds like a problem with a vacuum leak. What I need to know is does the transmission use engine vac when shifting into reverse? Thanks!
