I have 97 Ford Taurus SHO. My mechanic says that it has "jumped time", and that it has 3 timing chains. Is this correct? He tells me it will cost about $5,000 to repair it. It will run, but just barely. Have I ruined the engine? I've searched the forums, but I'm just not coming up with answers. PLEASE HELP!
